Your Future Responsibilities:
- Build efficient and robust workflows between our internal services and external ones using the vendor APIs
- Integrate third party tools into our AWS based platform landscape
- Build TypeScript backend services to support our micro-service architecture
- Design, implement, and document RESTful or GraphQL APIs used by our applications and services
- Implement proper error handling mechanisms
- Assess technical feasability in build vs buy analysis
- Design and implement data storage solutions, structured and arbitrary data and data relations
- Take a major role in the decision-making of Architrave's service-oriented architecture
- Help and mentor less-experienced engineers to develop further
What You Should Bring With You:
- At least 3 years of experience with Node.js, as well as profound knowledge in at least one other language (Python preferred)
- Profound knowledge in TypeScript and backend frameworks and libraries
- Hands-on experience with WebHooks and API design
- Professional experience with AWS, Docker and K8s
- Experience in service-oriented architectures with a clear understanding of advantages and pitfalls
- It would be beneficial if you have worked with OCR services and GraphQL before and are familiar with AI, ML topics
- Advanced knowledge in modelling and storing structured data
- Experience in agile software engineering
- An analytic mindset to find simple solutions to complex problems
- Great communication skills to explain complexity in a simple and clear way
- User-driven and value-driven mindset
- Fluent in written and verbal English communication. German is not mandatory, but a plus
